How to Engage Kids in.vocation?

*How to keep teenagers active during summer vacations, away from their mobile phones, manage their school work in their daily routine, and have a good time?*

 Create a timetable

Encourage regular exercise, walking, jogging, swimming, etc.

Assign responsibilities to teenagers, such as preparing evening tea, watering plants, doing house cleaning, ironing clothes, organizing things. Include any task that you want them to do and make it their responsibility.

Cultivate the habit of reading books. Read books yourself and then discuss with your children what you read, what you learned, what lessons you gained.

 Teach creative writing skills.

Through creative writing, children can learn problem-solving skills. Give them any topic and ask them to write about it.

Teach problem-solving skills. Assume any problem and ask them how they would handle that situation or how they would handle it if they ever encountered that situation. Then guide them towards better ways to deal with it.

Focus on developing communication skills. Teach necessary communication skills and encourage them to speak on different topics, different problems, and different situations to boost their confidence.

Additionally, help your children in polishing any skill they have, such as painting, writing, sketching, cooking, designing, gardening, etc.

 Teach online freelancing courses.

Adolescence is the best age to introduce children to religion and provide them with religious education. Teach them the translation and interpretation of the Holy Quran and engage in healthy discussions.

During this age, children go through many physical and emotional changes. Keep your child close to you so that they always come to you during difficult and troubling times. Give them the confidence that they can openly discuss and share any issue or problem with you. Building this trust is crucial, and to do so, discuss and share your own small problems with your child and seek their advice.

Appreciate your children, minimize sarcasm and criticism, and make healthy discussions a regular part of your routine.

I hope this helps you in keeping your teenagers engaged and productive during their summer vacations.
