Eid ul Adha is a significant festival

Eid ul Adha is a significant festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide, regardless of their country, town, or caste. On this day, Muslims don new clothes, wear perfume, and take a bath, all with the intention of seeking Allah's love and following the Sunnah (teachings) of Prophet Ibrahim. The story behind Eid ul Adha dates back to Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismael, in obedience to Allah's command. However, Satan repeatedly tried to deviate Ibrahim from his path. The Holy Quran emphasizes that Satan is an avowed enemy of humanity. To prevent any distractions, Ibrahim blindfolded himself and prepared to sacrifice his son. In a remarkable turn of events, Allah replaced Ismael with a ram at the last moment, rewarding Ibrahim's unwavering faith and obedience. Ibrahim earned the title of Khalillullah, meaning "Friend of God." From that moment onwards, the celebration of Eid ul Adha, also known as the "Day of Sacrifice" or

Sunnat e Ibrahimi

*Sunnat e Ibrahimi* Khadija Amjad Sarah returned home from school exhausted and tired, but she was still really happy as finally she was having her summer vacations during which she had planned a lot of things. The first thing Sarah wanted to do was listen to a story from her grandfather. She and her little brother rushed into their grandfather's room. "Oh, my little grandchildren, you are really excited to listen to a story, but before I tell you one, you need to change your clothes, wash your faces, and bring your lunch so I can tell you the story while you eat," their grandfather said. Eager to listen to the story their grandfather was going to tell them, they went to their rooms, got dressed, and with their plates in their hands, they returned to their grandfather's room. "So, as you know, there are only a few days left until Eid Ul Adha. Do you know why we celebrate it?" The kids looked puzzled, and eventually Sarah's brother, Ali, spoke up. "B

Reflections on Life and the Day of Judgment

Starting today, Iman Amjad sits in the passenger seat of my car, adjusting the wings of the air conditioner. Engaged in a light conversation with my mom, I notice a man setting up a mango stall some distance away from our car. An eerie and perplexing smell fills the atmosphere, and as it enters my nostrils, it invigorates my senses. Initially, I overlook the way he displays the mangos, but soon I realize that he places the fresher and ripe mangos on top, while the raw ones with scars and spots are positioned underneath or behind them. This action forces me to contemplate life and how individuals with good character and a righteous mindset often find themselves ahead. It reminds me of the Day of Judgment, where Allah will categorize the people of Jannah into high and low ranks. Those who were Sabiqul Awaloon, the foremost in good deeds, will attain the highest ranks, while others may receive lower ranks. Today, we must all join hands and strive hard to be among the favorites of Allah.
